Dining out with my wife, Dr. Linda Carney My Real Estate experience started in the 1980's as a Real Estate agent in California selling properties in Lake Hughes, Lake Elizabeth, Lancaster, Palmdale and Quartz Hill. This was during a huge boom in Real Estate and then an equally huge bust. Many valuable lessons were learned through those times.
I then became a Real Estate Investor while doing a 180 degree career change and moving to the Silicon Valley to pursue a career in Internet Services Development. I worked for Apple Computer and the now defunct Excite@Home Network while also launching an Internet Based non-profit organization called TAGnet and a small Software Development company called SoftShore Solutions, LLC.. When 'dot com' became 'dot bomb' I returned again to the field of Real Estate. We moved to Texas because it is a land of opportunities; great deals on Real Estate with excellent return on investment!

Now is an excellent time to consider setting up shop in anywhere in the Central Texas: The area is experiencing phenominal growth. I am prone to The South Corridor and Buda in particular where my wife and I settled when looking for a new place to call home.
The Economic Development Corporation of Buda is very supportive. The Chamber of Commerce
in Buda is incredibly active in the community. Employee housing prices are very
reasonable in Buda and even more reasonable in neighboring Kyle. There is land available to purchase or lease to build
your business in this area.
